The call centre days
1999 to July 2015
The original HolidaysGo website launched in 1999 making it easy for you to search, compare and book holidays from home without having to visit a high street travel agent.
In the early days online booking did not exist as it does today, so having found your holiday online you then needed to telephone the call centre to make your booking.
August 2015 to September 2021
In August 2015 the call centre finally closed and HolidaysGo became online only with an updated fully responsive website for easy viewing on desktops, tablets and smartphones.
At this time we also made a major change to the booking process. In most cases you were redirected to the holiday providers own website to make your booking directly with the supplier.

Holidays and short breaks in the UK
October 2021 – Today
We launched the latest version of the HolidaysGo website promoting holidays, short breaks and days out only in the UK.
Our change to concentrating on UK holidays and breaks has proved extremely popular and we now serve over 150,000 page views per month to visitors looking to find their perfect staycation in the UK.
In 2024 we intend to add destination guides, holiday inspiration features and a new attraction ticket booking facility to the website.
