Portsmouth Historic Dockyard
A visit to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard has now got even better as it can now also include a visit to the Mary Rose, King Henry VIII’s favourite ship, sank in battle in 1545 and raised from the waters just outside the Dockyard in 1982.

Less than 5 miles from Junction 12 of the M27, follow the brown and white signs to ‘Historic Dockyard’ which will lead you to the official car park. For SAT NAV use postcode PO1 3GW

The nearest mainline rail station is Portsmouth Harbour just 200 yards from the entrance to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard
