A must for any music fan, The Beatles Story features an impressive collection of fascinating memorabilia including the band’s original instruments, John Lennon’s New York piano, Ringo Starr’s drum kit, rare album sleeves, photography and original lyrics.
The Beatles Story will take you on an immersive journey through the lives, times, culture and music of the world’s greatest band.


Self Guided Tour
FREE multi media guides are available packed with information, imagery, and feature video interviews with Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, giving visitors a unique insight into the story of the Fab Four, and are narrated by John Lennon’s sister, Julia Baird.
Walk through recreations of key locations including:
The Casbah Club, Hamburg
The Cavern Club, Liverpool
Abbey Road Studios
As The Beatles Story is a self guided tour you are free to explore and enjoy at your own pace. Most visitors spend anything from 1 to 3 hours excluding time spent in the Fab4 Cafe and Fab4 Store at the end of the tour.
Getting to The Beatles Story
The exhibition is located in the Fab Four’s hometown of Liverpool on the waterfront at the Royal Albert Dock.
By Car : Use the Sat Nav postcode L3 4AD for the waterfront. There is parking at the docks plus car parks at Liverpool ONE and ACC Liverpool.
By Train : The nearest mainline station is Liverpool Lime Street which is a 20 minute walk from The Beatles Story.
By Bus : The 800, 500 and 25 bus services stop at the Albert Dock.
