The Lion King tells the coming of age story of lion cub Simba who is born to the King of the Jungle Mufasa. His birth unsettles his Uncle Scar who plots with his hyenas to kill both Mufasa and Simba in order to become king.
Following the death of his father Simba runs away from the Kingdom but must finally return and try to reclaim his rightful place as The Lion King.
