Located at the Studios where it all began, the Studio Tour offers visitors a unique opportunity to explore two soundstages and marvel at the innovative artistry that went into making Harry Potter the most successful film series of all time.

Step into the Magic

Walk in the footsteps of your favourite characters as you stroll through the Great Hall, explore the Forbidden Forest, board the original Hogwarts Express™ at Platform 9 ¾™, step foot into Gringotts Wizarding Bank™ and wander down Diagon Alley™.

Be spellbound by iconic sets including the Gryffindor™ Common Room, Professor Dumbledore’s™ Office, the Weasley Kitchen, Hagrid’s™ Hut and The Ministry of Magic.

Visit The Backlot, used during filming for some of the exterior sets, for a closer look at Number 4 Privet Drive (The Dursley’s House), The Hogwarts Bridge and The Knight Bus™. It’s also the perfect place to take a short break and enjoy a refreshing glass of Butterbeer™.

You can choose to stay in a popular nearby hotel such as the Jurys Inn Watford or Holiday Inn Hemel Hempstead (nearby hotels are normally the cheapest option) or opt for a hotel in central London.

Travelling to the Studio

The Warner Bros. Studios are in Leavesden some 20 miles north-west of London close to the M1 and M25 motorways and there is a large free visitor car park directly outside the Studio.

 By Road:  The Studio is situated just off the A405, less than 3 miles from Watford Town Centre and is easily reached via Junction 19 or 20 of the M25.
For SATNAV use the postcode WD25 7LR and follow the brown traffic signs labelled “Warner Bros. Studio Tour” once you get close to the Studio.

 By Rail – The nearest train station is Watford Junction. Fast trains travel direct from London Euston to Watford Junction and take less than 20 minutes.
A Shuttle Bus runs from Watford Junction to the Studio Tour with a journey time of around 15 minutes.
