The Book of Mormon Musical
The Book of Mormon is a joyously vicious and satirical musical from the creators of the famous animated comedy South Park (Matt Stone, Trey Parker) and the co-creator of Avenue Q (Robert Lopez).
The Book of Mormon tells the story of two young men sent out to a remote village in Uganda to spread the good word of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Once there the enthusiastic young men face the challenge of lack of interest by the inhabitants who are more concerned about the real issues in their lives like oppression, village war loads, female gentile mutilation, famine and AIDS.
