Originally a wooden fort built by William the Conqueror, it was rebuilt in stone during the 12th century and has gained many additions over the years to create the impressive castle we see today.
See how the Countess hosted her lavish Royal Weekend Party, visit the Princess Tower, get lost in the Horrible Histories maze, see the World’s largest working siege machine and so much more.
Exciting events take place every day and can include jousting, jesting, fighting knights and falconry. You can even learn the art of archery with the Warwick Bowman.

Travelling to Warwick Castle
BY ROAD – The Castle is well signposted, and less than two miles from junction 15 of the M40. The Sat Nav postcode is CV34 6AH or the what3words entrance to the main carpark is ///acid.decks.speaks
The car parks are approx 10-15 minutes walking distance from the castle but there is a drop off area for those with specific needs.
BY RAIL – Warwick Railway Station is approximately one mile from the Castle.
