Elf – The Musical is the hilarious tale of Buddy the Elf, as we see him making the biggest journey of his life – and helping people to re-discover their Christmas Spirit along the way.
Based on the much loved 2003 film, we meet Buddy, a small orphaned boy, who mistakenly climbs into Santa’s gift bag and finds himself in the North Pole. Unaware that he is human, Buddy grows up amongst Santa’s elves, but is forced to face the truth when his enormous size and terrible toy making abilities can be ignored no longer. So, with Santa’s blessing of course, he sets off to find his father, discover his real past and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas.

Elf the Musical is recommended for ages 5 years and over. Children under the age of 5 cannot be admitted into the theatre.
Elf the Musical is playing at the Aldwych Theatre, 49 Aldwych, London, WC2B 4DF
Covent Garden is approx 7 minutes walk. Exit Covent Garden Station and turn right onto Long Acre. Take the 2nd right turn onto Drury Lane. Continue onto the end of Drury Lane and then turn right. The theatre is on your right.
Elf the Musical is playing from 28th October 2025 until the 3rd January 2026
The evening performance (Monday to Saturday) is at 7:00 pm
Matinee performances (Saturdays and most Thursdays) at 2:00 pm
