Step Inside Tower Bridge
The Tower Bridge Exhibition will transport you back to Victorian times as you climb and descend the towers, discovering the story of London’s defining landmark from the very beginning using a range of media including films and pictures.
The highlight of the Tower Bridge experience is undoubtedly the high-level walkway that offers breathtaking panoramic views of London’s skyline. The glass floored walkway offers a unique perspective of the bridge’s structure and the river 42 metres below.
Having taken in the views from the top the tour culminates in the engine room which houses the beautifully maintained original steam engines that once powered the Victorian bridge lifting mechanism.

All visitors will need to queue outside Tower Bridge prior to entry (check weather and wear approrpiate clothing).
Wear comfortable shoes for walking up the Tower.
Only small bags up to 45cm x 20cm x 25cm are permitted and all bags are subjected to search.
Accessibility
Tower Bridge is fully accessible.
There is lift access to all levels in the Towers and Engine Rooms.
Accessible toilets are also available once inside
