Location:
Majorca is located in the Mediterranean Sea, off the eastern coast of Spain.
Part of an archipelago consisting of Majorca, Menorca, Ibiza, Formentera and numerous smaller islands.

Tourism: Represents an important source of revenue for the Spanish people. With over 44 million visitors a year coming to Spain and it's Mediterranean islands it is now one of the leading tourist destinations.

Major Attractions:-
Beaches - The main reason for visiting Majorca. It's excellent climate, long stretches of golden sand and secluded coves make it an ideal year round destination for sunseekers.
Scenery - Sierra del Norte mountain range in the north and breathtaking sheer cliffs along part of the coast make leaving the beach worthwhile. A visit to Palma, the capital, makes for an interesting day out. Located on the seafront with numerous pavement cafes it is the perfect place to sit and watch the world go by.

Nightlife: Most resorts have a good choice of restaurants and bars and there is nightlife to suit all tastes. For wild nightlife visit Magaluf, for lively nights visit Cala d'or the islands largest resort whilst those who enjoy a quieter lifestyle will find Cala San Viconte perfect.
